Unlock Exclusive Rewards with Save Data in Square Enix’s Latest HD-2D Adventure!

Excitement is building for Square Enix’s upcoming HD-2D project, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, set to hit the shelves in June. Players will be rewarded with several bonuses tied to their existing save data from other popular titles within the Square Enix portfolio.

If you have save data from specified titles or a purchase record on the same account, you could qualify for unique rewards. Demo save data for certain games might also count towards eligibility.

The titles that will enable players to unlock these bonuses include Octopath Traveler 0, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster, Various Daylife, and TRIANGLE STRATEGY. Here’s a closer look at what players can expect:

OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0

“Sword magicite ‘Guidance of the Sacred Flame’ – Adds a 10% increase in sword damage to enemies with 30% or lower vitality.”

DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake

“Sword magicite ‘Critical Hit’ – Enhances sword critical-hit rates by 6%.”

BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster

“Sword magicite ‘Brave’ – Boosts sword damage by 10% with slightly increased shield stamina consumption when guarding.”

VARIOUS DAYLIFE

“Sword magicite ‘Expeditionary Wisdom’ – Reduces sword charge time by 10%.”

TRIANGLE STRATEGY

“Sword magicite ‘Counter Stance’ – Increases sword damage by 10% when shield stamina is above 90%.”

To qualify for these bonuses, save data must reside on the same Switch 2 system. If you have data saved on a different original Switch system, it will need to be transferred before claiming any rewards.

These bonuses can be claimed at any point, even if the save data was created after starting The Adventures of Elliot. However, while the promotion will commence with the game’s release, there is no assurance that it will remain available indefinitely.

Here’s how to claim your rewards once the game launches for Switch 2 on June 18, 2026:

Claiming Instructions:

– Select the Promotional Bonus option on the title screen and link your qualifying games.

– Linking will happen automatically when you access the relevant screen.

– After starting a new game, check the desk on the second floor of the orphanage in the Age of Safekeeping.

– Choose Claim bonuses from the menu options to redeem any qualifying rewards from the list.

– Please keep in mind that some game segments may temporarily restrict access to bonuses when the orphanage is unavailable.

– Departure Brooch – Slightly increases the amount of in-game currency (tul) and magicite fragments dropped by enemies.

Are you planning to pick up this game at release? Do you qualify for any of the save data rewards?
