Ahead of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple has prepared a new web subdomain, genai.apple.com. However, accessing it currently leads to a blank page, indicating further developments are on the horizon. This subdomain is established just weeks before the anticipated event, where Apple is expected to unveil advancements in artificial intelligence within its software.

Currently, Apple’s main site features an Apple Intelligence page. The purpose of the new subdomain remains somewhat ambiguous, but it seems likely to be associated with “generative AI,” a topic that has gained traction due to innovations from platforms like ChatGPT.
Apple’s upcoming software updates—including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27—are anticipated to showcase various AI-driven features. An enhanced version of Siri is expected to offer improved contextual awareness, enabling more interactive dialogues, making conversations feel more natural.
Apple Intelligence is set to introduce new functionalities aimed at increasing accessibility, such as automatic captions for videos, benefiting users who are hard of hearing. Revamped Voice Control will permit users to interact with their devices using everyday language, enhancing usability.
Other noteworthy features include streamlined shortcuts within the Shortcuts app, a new option to generate digital passes in the Wallet application, and Safari’s automatic tab group naming. Visual Intelligence enhancements may also allow the camera app to interpret food nutrition labels and seamlessly add contact details from business cards.
Apple’s WWDC 2026 will kick off on Monday, June 8, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, promising an engaging showcase of innovation.
