Update :
MOSS has responded to feedback regarding the recently launched Raiden Fighters Remix Collection, with one user describing it as “absolutely unacceptable.”
In a statement, MOSS acknowledged the grievances from players:
We have been made aware of numerous issues regarding the frame rate in the RAIDEN FIGHTERS REMIX COLLECTION, released on February 26, 2026. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our valued customers.
We deeply regret the lack of comprehensive quality assurance prior to launch and wish to address the specific concerns outlined below.
Frame Rate Issues
While the original arcade title operates at 54 frames per second, our current version is presenting at 60 frames per second. This has inadvertently altered the gameplay speed, resulting in a faster experience that can make it challenging for players.Future Improvements
We are actively working on a patch that will restore the frame rate to 54 frames per second, in line with the original arcade game. We aim to finalize this patch as swiftly as possible and will keep our community informed via our official website and social media channels. This flaw has affected the core gameplay, which is of utmost importance to us. We are committed to reviewing our quality control processes to ensure it doesn’t occur again in the future. We are also gathering further thoughts and suggestions from players for future enhancements.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Original Story : The resurgence of classic gaming has seen companies like M2 revive beloved titles, underscoring a renewed interest in retro collections—provided they meet the expectations of today’s gamers.
Sadly, many vintage game releases are facing performance challenges. The newly introduced Raiden Fighters Remix Collection from MOSS is grappling with similar woes.
Users have voiced concerns over frame rate discrepancies, poor color balance, and limited customization options in this latest bundle.
As small-time players, we often settle for whatever we receive. Yet, there’s no justification for half-hearted releases.
Completely unacceptable, MOSS… It’s disappointing when individual developers deliver more polished products than a major studio.
Numerous other players chimed in to confirm similar issues with the collection.
The package features Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2, and Raiden Fighters Jet, each available in both Japanese and “hardcore” global versions, along with an extensive remixed soundtrack consisting of 30 tracks.
