However, players are feeling increasingly anxious about the lack of updates or even hints at what might come next. The excitement surrounding the potential introduction of Everdark Heolstor, the much-anticipated final boss variant, adds to this anticipation.
This week, multiple discussions on Reddit have highlighted player frustrations due to the absence of announcements from FromSoftware regarding Nightreign. One user expressed the sentiment shared by many: “It’s been three months since the last content drop. At this point, we’re wondering if they’ve abandoned us.” The comment section saw numerous echoes of this sentiment, with players wishing for any new content—be it a modest DLC pack with additional Nightfarers or fresh weapons.
Players are particularly hopeful for the Everdark Heolstor variant. As the Nightlord, Heolstor stands as a pivotal enemy in Nightreign.
